Here am I. Send me.

Friends and Family,

As many of you know, I had the privilege of traveling to Uganda with Sozo Children last summer for three weeks. This ministry absolutely captured my heart. They have three children's homes, and are truly being the hands and feet of Jesus caring for each of the children that have been entrusted to them. (You can read more about the Sozo story at www.sozochildren.org.) Before I even left to return home last summer, I knew the Lord was calling me to return to Uganda in order to continue to grow these relationships.

This summer I am excited to be serving the Lord in Uganda from May 26th - July 28th. I will have the opportunity to love on our Sozo kids, but I will also be spending time teaching in a couple of local schools. My passions of education and orphan care have truly collided in a beautiful way, one that could have only been orchestrated by our Sovereign God.

Several of you have asked how you can join me in this journey. I want to share with you three ways that you can get plugged in.

1.  Please join me in prayer for my ministry this summer. Pray that I will be obedient to the Lord as I am serving Him. Pray that I will follow His agenda, not my own. And pray that I will pour out His love to everyone He places in my path.

2.   I have designed t-shirts to sell to support my trip. The t-shirts are $20 each.  If you are interested in purchasing a t-shirt, please email me at lauren.lunceford@gmail.com to place your order by May 1st.

3.   You can donate directly to my trip at www.sozochildren.org/laurenlunceford.

Thank you for your love, prayers, and support during this journey. I cannot wait to share with you stories of His faithfulness each and every step of the way. You can follow my journey at http://laurenlunceford.blogspot.com.

In His Love,
Lauren Lunceford
